Health Care - Dossia
Newgrange was a key resource helping Dossia
launch America's largest employer based Personal Health Record. This sophisticated, demanding and
feature rich application was launched to positive acclaim, without ever slipping a launch date.
Advanced features included:

Identity Management & Social Networking -
Newgrange designed and implemented key pieces of Dossia's sharing and identity solution.
Using the open standards OpenID and Oauth,
users can seamlessly access external applications right from their Personal Health Record. This "Facebook like"
experience allows users to transparently launch (and share data with) health applications from other vendors.
Users can share pieces of their health record with health professionals and family members,
and to manage these permissions. This was all accomplished while maintaining the highest levels of
confidentiality data security.

Personal Health Record -
Newgrange implemented Dossia's on-line user interface. We used modern Web 2.0
technologies like ajax and jQuery
to provide a solution that was powerful, secure, fast and scalable... yet simple to use.

Data Security -
Newgrange redesigned much of the Dossia data model. By moving
key parts of the business logic into the database tier,
and using a clear database design, we were able to produce a
system capable of serving millions of users securely.
Performance improvements were many orders of magnitudes faster than the legacy data model
we replaced (running on the same hardware).
Travel - World Travel Holdings
World Travel Holdings, the nation's leading multi-brand travel distributor,
has used Newgrange to develop key products and enhancements to its
extensive suite of on-line travel solutions.

Web Services -
Newgrange delivered web services allowing transactional, including SOAP, HTTP over XML,
remote EJB requests and custom messaging. These were used to integrate with remote travel reservation systems,
insurance providers and credit card services.

Content Rendering -
Newgrange designed and implemented a content rendering solution which could render a subset of
HTML to web, mail and print (PDF) form. This component allows WTH to use the same dynamic templates
to render highly dynamic invoices, emails and web pages, and allowed these templates to be branded
for their house brands and partner brands. The system produced thousands of print and email mailings per day,
and integrated directly with their mail room.

Business Automation -
Newgrange's scheduling software was used to manage, run and
monitor the scheduled jobs. The interface was an easy to use web application,
allowing full control over jobs on remote machines, including EJB components,
command line interfaces, ftp services and more. .

Evergreen Investments
is a premier asset management firm providing individual and institutional investors
with a broad range of investment products and asset management solutions. Newgrange played
a key role in developing evergreeninvestments.com, Evergreen's

Site Navigation and Security -
Newgrange worked with Evergreen Investments to produce a dynamic,
database driven security and navigation component. This component
allowed Evergreen to manage the security of all of the resources
on its website. The component also generated a site-map dynamically
for the user, based on their access privileges.

Application integration -
Newgrange helped Evergreen produce key parts of the evergreeninvestments.com,
including dynamically generating reports, and integrating with
legacy information systems.
